Carolyn and Izzy

Ok I know there are 2 of the same picture, but the way I photographed them the results are different on certain parts, the darker of either are the more correct values. It seems when I was taking the photos I didn't realize that, I was focusing on just trying to get a better shot. Anyway I completed this one, the one I started here way back. I plan to deliver it tomorrow. I sure hope they like it, if not I'll be glad to take it home because I am pleased with it.

I thank God the Father for giving me all that I need to be able to do what I need to do esp in the art work, I hope I am giving God the glory in all I do.

All of these portraits turned out beautiful Victoria! How dare you deny us the beauty of your portrait skills for this long?

Thank you Alice you are so kind. I so appreciate the encouragement. So much of life seems to come 1st at times but I am really working on concentrating my efforts to get more of these portraits out there, slowly but surely. I so loved your "Secret Garden" painting too, so inviting!

Thank you Paula for your kind and encouraging comments, they are much appreciated. Going thru a re-think now a days so I am behind doing any painting of any kind, but I do keep drawing! Thx again.

These two are bathed in such glorious light - looks like a professionally lighted situation. Very nice!!

Thank you Pattie, what a nice comment you wrote. I was intending in this painting to bring in more light and I am so thankful it worked out!

I think it must be in the air. A little depression goes a long way. I just found out that my best friend and co-crafter is branching off of my business and going out on her own. I should be so happy for her and I am but at the same time I feel as though I have lost a huge part of my business life. I know this will pass and all will be better because the Lord is soverign and He is in control and I am not. And His plans are always so much better than my vision and view of things so this depression too will pass and all will be good. I love you and am so encouraged by your art and your work ethic. You may just need to slow down a bit and rest and you will spring back into action.
