Challenge landscape

This is my painting for the Different Strokes from Different Folks Challenge. I did this one using water based oils. Not sure I really like using them but they are ok to play with.

Love your red sky with its movement in contrast to the rolling green fields.. Great work

Thank you Caroled for your generously kind comment. I seem to enjoy painting in contrast, it sure shows up a lot in my paintings.

I don't know much about painting but I like it. Especially the sky.

Victoria, you must love rainbows. I am not sure but I think I see what looks like to be a tiny dove too. Your new painting series below "Quilter's Hand's is beautiful!

Thank you Alice for your kind words, I do love color I guess that is why the rainbow comes out, though I do not plan it that way. I didn't notice the bird like creature until you mentioned it. I was trying for the building in the background but forgot to tone it down so it does look like a bird of some sort. I'll take the dove image any day.

I'm glad you liked the "Quilter's Hands" series, I have a few more I want to do until I get more resources, but I have other projects first to complete before I go back. I really enjoyed doing them.

The sky to me is the richness of the harvest coming from on high and it is represented in the choice of the same color for the silo and the buildings , the purity is the white on the roof of the houses with the dove represent to protection from on high over it. Your interpretation is very prophetic.
